ResultMaps Incorporated ("ResultMaps", "we", "us", or "our") operates ResultKit — the resultkit.ai website, the ResultKit web application, and the ResultKit mobile experience (together, the "Service").
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the Service, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Terms used here have the same meaning as in the ResultKit Terms of Service unless defined differently below.
ResultKit is offered to customers in the United States and Canada. It is not offered to individuals or organizations in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, and this policy does not describe rights under the European General Data Protection Regulation.
For personal information you enter about yourself, ResultMaps is the controller. For content your organization puts into its workspace, your organization is the controller and ResultMaps handles that content on its instructions.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share workspace content with advertisers.
ResultKit's AI features work by sending your request, together with the workspace context needed to answer it, to a large language model for processing. Here is exactly what that means.

We use cookies and similar technologies (beacons, tags, scripts) to operate the Service, remember your preferences, keep your session secure, and understand how the Service is used. Cookies are small files stored on your device.
You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to tell you when one is being sent, but some parts of the Service may not work if you do.
Browser opt-out signals. We do not respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. If you use the Service, we collect the usage information described in this policy.
We keep your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes in this policy, and to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. In practice:
Your information, including personal information, is processed and stored in the United States. If you are in Canada and choose to give us information, please note that we transfer it to the United States and process it there, where the laws may differ from those in your province.
We use third parties to help us run the Service. They get access to personal information only to perform work on our behalf and are obligated not to use it for anything else. They fall into these categories, and all of them process information in the United States:

If ResultMaps Incorporated is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal information may be transferred. We will give notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We may disclose personal information in the good-faith belief that it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation; to protect and defend the rights or property of ResultMaps Incorporated; to prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing connected with the Service; to protect the personal safety of users or the public; or to protect against legal liability.
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Wherever possible you can view, update, or delete your information directly in your account settings. If you cannot do it yourself, email us and we will help. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message we send. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion or correction of it; to request a portable copy; and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
Several states give residents rights similar to California's, including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of personal information. Contact us and we will handle your request under the law that applies to you.
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. Contact us and we will respond within the time the law allows.
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
The Service may link to sites we do not operate. If you follow a third-party link you will be taken to that party's site, and we have no control over and take no responsibility for its content, policies, or practices. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new policy on this page, update the effective date at the top, and — where the change is significant — let you know by email or a prominent notice in the Service before it takes effect.
